This is a chance to spend an hour with one of our horses learning all about them. We'll teach them all about horse safety. They will get a chance to help brush them and learn why we groom. They will learn the proper way to "tack up". We will go through a "mini lesson" so they will know the basics of riding and they’ll get to ride the horse on property. Small children will be given a “lead line” ride while older riders will get to hold the reins in their hands and learn how to be comfortable controlling the horse.

The horse experience can be tailored to the age/level of the rider. This is a great experience for birthdays or other special occasions. Price is for one rider/one hour. You can add up to two extra participants for $15 each. Ages 5 and up. $45/first person/one hour ($15 for each additional person)

What should they wear?

Closed toed shoes are a must. Plan on getting a little dirty, so dress comfortably and appropriately.

Can the whole family come?

This experience is designed for one-on-one time with the handler and the participant. Of course parents are welcome to take photos. If you would like to have more than one person participate, there is a $15 charge for each additional person ( max 4 )
